    Appointment Policy
    For your convenience, our doctors see patients by appointment only. If your pet has an emergency during our office hours, please call to speak with our staff. Emergency cases always receive priority, so occasional delay in appointments can not be avoided. We appreciate your patience in these situations and ask that you remember, the next emergency could be your pet. Your time is just as important as ours, so we strive to stay on schedule.

     We ask that you kindly give 24 hour notice on all appointment changes whenever possible. Please understand that last minute cancelation or missed appointments are subject to a fee.

    All pets must be on a leash or in a carrier for their own safety. By state law, all pets must be current on the Rabies vaccination.

    Payment Policy
    Full payment is expected at the time of your appointment. If your pet needs to be hospitalized, a 50% deposit is required. We will provide you with an estimate of services expected and the staff will keep you informed of any major changes in necessary care. We accept CareCredit, Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, cash and personal checks based on account history. All returned checks will incur a $25 return check fee.     Prescription Policy
    RVAH maintains a full veterinary pharmacy. All prescriptions require authorization from our doctors before every refill. Please allow 24 hours for this approval. Refills may be requested by phone, e-mail or PetPortal.

    PetPortal Privacy Policy:
    "Vetstreet and its employees and contractors may access electronic records regarding Customer, Clients and their pets (“Individual Information”). All Individual Information will be encrypted or otherwise protected when transferred to Vetstreet. Vetstreet shall use Individual Information solely for the purpose of providing the Services, supporting the Software, complying with applicable laws and for the limited purposes set forth in this Section 5. Access by Vetstreet personnel to Individual Information shall be on a need-to-know basis.
